What is the Kingdom Companies Group?

The Kingdom Companies Group is committed to growing great companies. But we are also committed to a greater purpose. We believe that God is real. Everything we are, everything we have and everything around us belongs to Him. Based on this, we seek to love God and love others through everything, including our businesses. We were designed to live with a view beyond our own comforts and conveniences. The Kingdom Companies Group believes we are fulfilling our purpose when we serve God and others.

We believe in stewardship, not ownership.

Successful companies produce profit. It’s one of the outcomes of good business and it takes every team member to succeed. From those who sell, to those that do the hard work in the field, and everyone who supports these functions, we all play a vital role in the success of our business.

If the result of good business is profit, what happens to the profit? In our companies we use the profit to invest in our people, grow the businesses, and do good in the world. We believe this is the purpose that God has given our businesses.

GROVE and CARES are the vehicles of this stewardship as we seek to serve our teams, their families, our communities, and parts of the world that may not have heard of the God we serve.  We want to be thoughtful, strategic stewards. As our profits have grown, we’ve created systems to make sure they are invested in purposeful ways. It has led to the creation of the GROVE Group and CARES Program, which invite employees to be part of the stewardship journey. We’ve learned a lot as our giving activity has grown over the years and have sought to improve these programs through our common experiences.

The CARES Program

Before we reach into our communities to meet needs, we want to ensure our employees are properly supported. To do this, we offer free resources, both online and in-person, to all employees, including some resources available to members of their families. These resources support and guide our team members as they pursue emotionally, financially, and spiritually healthy lives. The Kingdom Companies Group believes in developing and empowering employees for meaningful work, personal growth, and eternal impact. This means reaching beyond ourselves and our profits and caring for our neighbors, whether they are working next to us or in a community nearby. Caring for others extends well beyond monetary relief. We empower employees to serve with their unique talents and resources, their time, and alongside their loved ones.

Why a Christian counseling approach?

By providing access to care from counselors with a Christian worldview, our hope is that another door will be opened for transformation by introducing you to the hope and healing that can be found through Gospel inspiration.

Process:

  1. HeartLife will vet providers in areas where we have branches/employees.

  2. If these providers meet expectations, they will be added to a list of approved providers which will be posted at the branches (and/or made available on CARES websites).

  3. Employees (or spouses/dependent children) can call providers directly to set up their initial appointment.

  4. At that first appointment, the Release of Information will be filled out by the employee along with any other paperwork the provider requires.

    • They can either fill out the release solely for financial information (Assignment of a client ID, session count, branch, and company), or

    • They can fill out the release for both financial information and appropriate clinical information for approval of sessions over 10. This opens a privileged/confidential line of communication only between that provider and the Director of Therapeutic Services at HeartLife.

    • At the initial session, if they choose only to sign the release for financial information, they can always fill out the release for appropriate clinical information later if their provider feels they need more sessions.

  5. Invoices for each company will be submitted to HeartLife Admin, kcg@heartlifesoulcare.org. HeartLife will track session counts for each employee receiving care.

    • Before invoices are sent to Hannah Knight for payment, HeartLife will ensure that any information defined as protected within the BAA is redacted.
